Most SatNav devices and direction finders may tell you to use the following roads:
Farm Road - Oakmere/Delamere 
Yeld Lane - Kelsall/Delamere

Both of these roads are private access to farms and are not through roads . Always cross reference with a map prior to visiting Delamere Forest.

The B5152 runs through Delamere Forest and can be joined via the A54/A49/A556/A56

The nearest motorway Junctions are:
M56 - Junction 12 (Runcorn/Weston)
M56 - Junction 10 (Stretton)
M6 - Junction 18 (Middlewich)



From the M56 - Exit at Junction 12 and follow signs for FRODSHAM - Delamere Forest is sign posted from Frodsham Town centre. (Approx 10mins)



Alternatively, from the M56 - Exit at Junction 10 (Stretton) and follow signs for WHITCHURCH - follow the A49 until you reach the A49/A556 Cross road (Sandiway Shell Petrol Station) then turn right onto the A556 and continue down for approx 1.5 miles until you reach the cross road at Vale Royal Abbey Arms.

Take a right here into “Station Road” this is the B5152 and will take you directly into the forest. (This route has speed cameras)



From the M6 - Exit at Junction 18 Middlewich and follow signs for A54 CHESTER/NORTHWICH - Then join the A530 at Middlewich and follow this road until you reach the A556. Join the A556 and follow directions to CHESTER. At Oakmere Join the B5152 “Station Road” this will take you directly into the forest.
