Delamere Forest is located in the heart of Cheshire - North West England, close to the historic market town of Frodsham. It includes 2,400 acres of mixed deciduous and evergreen woodland, making it the largest area of woodland in Cheshire.
Delamere Forest is the remnant of the Forests of Mara and Mondrem, which covered over 60 square miles in the north-west of Cheshire in the 11th century.

Delamere Forest is a popular tourist destination - each year attracting thousands of visitors from all over the United Kingdom.
Getting to Delamere
Delamere has its own train station which is on the Mid Cheshire Railway line and is easily accessible from Chester and Manchester Stations. Delamere has good local motorway access and is also served by two local bus routes. Click on the link below for travel information.
